January 30 update Just an update on our progress, still exercising although Shane skipped a day.Yuck..we had a snow day ,we still went to work it was nasty out.Our doors were frozen.I've been feeling kind of sluggish but I've continued to work out.Gotta keep telling myself I can do it.Been craving chocolate.Need some words of encouragement :) January 21 keeping on hello there ,just an update on our progress. we have been exercising everyday with tuesdays as our days off.we are having lots of fun doing this together.It's been hard, but we keep on going ,my last weigh in at weight watchers was not great I stayed the same. ,hoping to loss something this week , I've been working my butt off.we have been eating healthy . no junk food yet. January 16 rosendas update Well it's been a week I weigh in tomorrow at weight watchers , well see how that goes. I did have a peanut butter cup , I feel bad , but I'm gonna try harder in being strong.We have been sticking to the work out.First 2 days I was so soar. I'm incorporating some walking on the treadmill every other day. January 08 work out Well I did it , I worked out last night, so did Shane. We made it through.It was hard but I think it will get easier as we ease into it slow.The lower part of my body aches but I know it's for the good.I'll be at it again today, before the show starts January 07 Our reasons for entering the challenge My name is Rosenda and my husband is Shane, we have 5 great kids. We have been together 5yr., married 3yrs. We are both not very over weight but we do need to shed some pounds.As a women I have always struggled with my weight. I was thin as teen but it also came with an eating disorder, I have since overcame that disorder, none the less it's always in the back of my head ,(the little voice) .In my 20's after kids I was heavy. it was until 2001 that I started walking and in a year lost 65pds. my trouble is that I quit exercising and I lose all motivation.My husband gives me compliments all the time.I need to learn to accept them .My husband also has in the past been over weight.He like I need to be more motivated.Although he only need to lose like 20 pounds.The great thing about this challenge is we are doing this together, our goal is to learn new ideas to becoming healthier and meeting new people who feel just like us. Supporting each other along in this journey.We want to be healthy for our kids as for ourselves, we enjoying watching the biggest loser.The people on the show are so encouraging.So here we go. |
